This fabric is made out of post-industrial cotton scraps, excess material usually found on factory floors. Instead of sending these scraps to landfills, salvaged cotton scraps are grouped by color, shredded, broken down into fibers, and then spun into yarn. When it comes to land use and water, cotton is extremely resource-intense. Using recycled cotton helps save these resources, and reduce agricultural pollution.
